and Good Morning to all. It seems that everybody is here. I think we can begin
our meeting now. Let’s begin by reciting surah al-Fatihah. For your
information, Our Deputy Director, Mr.Shahrul ridzuan Arshad is not joining us
as he is meeting’s minutes?

Good matters arising? Anything to report?
Ms. Rahmatia : Yes,
based on the last meeting, you asked me about the development of our Family Day
2011 programme. My committee and I have agreed to choose Labuan for our next
yearly programme.
Chairperson : Wow,
that is something new! Can you share the reasons for choosing Labuan?
Ms. Rahmatia : Well,
we’ve been to Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Terengganu and Perak. Why not this time
around we go to Labuan where you don’t have to drive for hours to reach ouur
destination and we get to fly!
Cahirperson : That’s
good, we can definitely get new experience there. Thank you Ms. Rahmatia for
the information. Okey everybody, as ypu know, we are gathered here together to
discuss two important things which are Family Day transportation and accommodation,
and sponsorship. Who would want to start first… I think we better begin with
our head of LKU Transportation and Accommodation Unit to discuss the matter.
Ms. Fatehah, the floor is yours.
Ms. Fatehah : Thank
you, Mr. Alif. We’ve made some researches on the matter and we hope that these
will be accepted by all. We are going to stay at the Grand Dorsett Labuan
Hotel. It is close to the the centre of the town and it is just about 4km from
the Labuan Airport Terminal. There are many interesting places like War
Memorial, Botanical Gardens, peace Park and the Water Village that we can go to
from the hotel.
Ms. Izzuana : Oh,
my! I still remember the last time I went there. The place is great! It is not
only for business people, it is for those with kids too.
Ms. Fatehah : That’s
right, Ms. Izzuana. The Family Day Activities Unit will brief more on
interesting things to do there. In the next meeting. As for the transportation
during the 5-day stay there, we don’t need to worry. Our treasurer, Mdm. Ku
Fatehah, has informed us that we can definitely charter two buses to go to and
from the hotel everyday for 5 days and it will be paid with the balance in the
LKU account from last year’s Family day. Participants will have to pay only the
flight tickets. I believe that’s all
from me, Mr. Alif.
Chairperson : Thanks,
Mr. Fatehah for the information. We are going to discuss more on this matter on
the next meeting. But, could ypu please conduct a survey on how many
participants who would want to join in this programme next year. This is very
important for evrybody to be ready physically, mentally and definitely
financially.
Ms. Fatehah : we’ll
do it as soon as we end this meeting, Mr. Alif.

next would be the Sponsorship Unit, Mr. Faizal.
Mr. Faizal : Thanks.
I would like to begin by updating the latest development in our ‘You Sponsor, We Bahagia’ project. In June
2010, we have launched the project by foccusing on getting sponsorship from
various organisations and individuals. The project is based on getting
everybody involved, that is, not only the participants, the donors too. By sponsoring
, the donors will be able to get tax redemptions, a chance to win a lucky draw,
and the best part is, the person who donates the biggest amount of sponsorship
will be able to join us in Labuan for free.
Ms. Munira : I’m
sorry, but I can’t help wondering. Can we afford all those?
Mr. Faizal : According
to Mdm. Ku Fatehah, LKU has a least twenty thousand in the account. That is
before we include the amount of sponsors we manage to get in the last four
months. Based on the notes I have here,
we have an additional RM35 000. I personally believe, we will be able to get
more sponsors especially when our own Chairperson, Mr. Alif, has very good
connections with many political party leaders, business tycoons and
philanthropists.
Chairperson : Hahaha.
I will definitely ask them to donates. No worries. Okey, base on the lastest
updates I hope next year’s Family Day will be success. The main purpose is to
get closer to everyone in the company and to make us happy. I guess we have
discuss all, any other business?
Ms. Rahmatia : Yes, Mr. Alif. I hope all units could cooperate and work hard so the Family day
would be a memorable one.
